Physio Roberto has been practicing physiotherapy for over 20 years and today has a widespread client base ranging from desk bound office workers to national level athletes. All of whom know they can rely on his expertise and knowledge to overcome all physical health aliments impacting negatively on their lifestyles.

The Physio Roberto Colombini graduated from the University of East London in 1998 with BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. He began his career in the NHS where he quickly established himself as an effective and enthusiastic Musculoskeletal Physio.  Developing a special interest in Spinal Pain and Movement Disorders he focused on back and neck pain disorders. This included extensive post graduate training in core stability re-education and strengthening exercises.

Roberto qualified as a Medical Acupuncturist through the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapist (AACP) in 2003.  He has been a keen acupuncturist ever since.

In 2004 Roberto moved into Private Practice in the City of London where he worked on cross referrals with some of London most renowned Surgeons and Physicians. He has earned a reputation for effective treatment and a successful problem solving approach.  Especially with complex spinal cases and severe acute and chronic sporting injuries. Roberto is an expert manual therapist adopting a holistic approach in his treatment management. Taking into account the whole body’s mechanical properties and considering global movement through the kinetic chain for assessment purposes. In order to arrive at a precise diagnosis and determine the best treatment required to rectify mechanical dysfunction, resolve pain and cure injury.

Today Roberto continues to progress and develop his physiotherapy practice with regular postgraduate training.  He has developed highly successful approaches in the treatment of Sporting Injuries, especially those in the lower limb and shoulder girdle. He has expert knowledge in the field of Post Surgical Rehabilitation and the treatment of Tendon Injuries.  Whether they are traumatic, sporting or those incurred during every day life.

An extension of Roberto’s interest in Spinal conditions has led him to become skilled in the management of uncommon painful mechanical syndromes.  Such as TMJ – Temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD), Neck related Dizziness and Tinnitus, Headaches and Sacroiliac joint Movement Dysfunction (which can often result in pelvic and/or lower limb pain).

In 2019 Life Physiotherapy opened in the City of London with Roberto Colombini at the helm, seeing all clients personally. It is the aim of Life Physiotherapy to provide the Gold Standard in Physiotherapy Management, Rehabilitation and “Hands On” Manual Treatment.
